Factelle

Terms & Conditions

Effective date and agreement

Effective 1 August 2026. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to Factelle and related services operated by Factelle LLC. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the policies they incorporate. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Factelle for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation. The service is not directed to children under 13.

Editorial information, not professional advice

Factelle publishes general journalism and information. Content is not personalised medical, legal, financial, investment, tax or other professional advice. Verify information important to your decisions and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.

No guarantee of completeness or availability

We work to publish accurate and useful material, but news develops and errors may occur. We do not promise that every page will be complete, current, uninterrupted or suitable for a particular purpose. Corrections and updates are governed by our editorial policies.

Intellectual property

Factelle branding, design, software and original content are owned by or licensed to Factelle LLC and protected by law. You may read, link to and share public URLs for personal, non-commercial use. Republishing, selling, scraping at scale or creating a substitute archive requires written permission unless law expressly permits it.

Quotations and linking

Fair quotation with clear attribution and a link to the original page is welcome where permitted by law. A link must not falsely imply endorsement, partnership or authorship.

User submissions

If you send a message, tip, pitch, comment or other material, you confirm that you may lawfully provide it and that it is not knowingly false, unlawful, threatening, malicious or rights-infringing. Contributor submissions are also governed by the Contributor Agreement.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with security or operation; gain unauthorised access; introduce malware; evade access controls; impersonate others; harvest personal information; overload the service; use automated means in violation of published controls; or use Factelle to violate law or another person’s rights.

Accounts

If accounts are enabled, you are responsible for accurate registration information, safeguarding credentials and activity under your account. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. We may suspend an account to protect the service or enforce these terms.

Third-party services and AI tools

Factelle may link to or integrate third-party websites, embeds, payment services, platforms or AI assistants. They are controlled by their providers and have separate terms and privacy practices. A link does not by itself constitute endorsement.

Advertising

Commercial content is governed by the Advertising & Disclosure Policy. Advertisers are responsible for their claims and offers. Factelle LLC is not a party to a transaction between a reader and an advertiser unless expressly stated.

Suspension, changes and removal

We may modify, suspend or discontinue a feature; restrict abusive or unlawful use; correct or remove content; or take steps needed for security, law and editorial integrity. We aim to avoid unnecessary disruption but cannot guarantee advance notice in every case.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title or non-infringement. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Factelle LLC and its personnel are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising from use of the service. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct where applicable.

Indemnity

Where permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use, rights-infringing submission or material breach of these terms. This does not apply to the extent a loss was caused by Factelle LLC.

Governing law and disputes

Unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, these terms are governed by the law of the US state in which Factelle LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and disputes may be brought in courts with jurisdiction over Factelle LLC. Before formal proceedings, the parties should attempt good-faith resolution through legal@factelle.com.

Changes and severability

We may revise these terms prospectively. Material changes will be identified by a revised effective date or additional notice where appropriate. If a provision is unenforceable, it is limited or removed only to the extent necessary and the remaining terms continue.

Contact

Questions about these terms may be sent to legal@factelle.com. Editorial corrections and privacy requests should use the dedicated addresses shown in the relevant policies.

Essential storage is always active. Optional categories only run after you save an affirmative choice.
