Who is responsible for Factelle
Factelle is published by Factelle LLC and managed by an accountable editorial team. Staff editors set standards, commission and review work, supervise corrections and decide whether material is ready to publish.
Author transparency
Articles should identify the writer or responsible editorial account. Author pages should describe relevant experience, subject expertise and published work. Where specialist review materially informs a story, the reviewer and the nature of that review should be disclosed.
Roles and labels
FTL Editor identifies work produced or substantially reviewed by the Factelle editorial desk. FTL Collaborator identifies an external or occasional contributor whose work has been edited to Factelle standards. Neither label reduces Factelle LLC’s responsibility for what it publishes.
Conflicts and independence
Editors, writers and reviewers must disclose financial, professional, political or personal interests that could reasonably be seen to affect their work. A disclosure, reassignment or recusal may be required depending on the seriousness of the conflict.
