Factelle

Cookie Policy

Effective date

Effective 1 August 2026. This Cookie Policy explains how Factelle LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on Factelle and how you can control optional categories.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, tags and software development tools. They can operate a requested feature, remember a choice, protect a service, measure use or support advertising.

Essential technologies

Essential technologies support security, load balancing, fraud prevention, consent records, account sessions and features you request. They cannot always be disabled through Factelle because the service may not work correctly without them.

Preferences

Preference technologies remember optional display or experience choices. They remain subject to the choice shown in Cookie Settings where consent is required.

Analytics

Analytics technologies help us understand aggregate use, performance and errors. Optional analytics remains off until an affirmative choice is saved where required. Reports should be used to improve the publication rather than identify a reader unnecessarily.

Advertising

Advertising technologies may measure campaigns, limit repetition or personalise commercial content. Optional advertising technologies remain off until the required choice is made. Some disclosures may count as sale, sharing or targeted advertising under certain US state laws.

Factelle consent record

The Factelle theme stores a first-party consent value named factelle_consent for up to approximately 180 days. It records your selected optional categories so the site can respect them on later visits. It does not itself contain your name or email address.

WordPress and account cookies

WordPress may set essential session, authentication, security, comment or preference cookies for signed-in users, administrators or people using enabled interactive features. Their duration varies from a browser session to the period selected by the user or configured by the service.

Third-party content

Videos, social posts, maps, advertising, analytics and other embedded services may set their own technologies when enabled. Their provider, purpose and duration depend on the service active on the page. Optional third-party content should follow the applicable consent category.

Your controls

Use Cookie Settings in the footer to accept, reject or change optional categories. You may also delete cookies through browser settings. Rejecting optional technologies should not prevent access to ordinary editorial content, although some optional embeds or preferences may be unavailable.

Browser signals

Where required by applicable law and technically detectable, Factelle honours a valid Global Privacy Control signal for applicable sale, sharing or targeted-advertising choices. Legacy Do Not Track signals may not express a legally standardised preference.

Keeping the inventory accurate

Factelle LLC reviews the live website when services or plugins change. A provider may update its own cookie names or duration, so this policy describes both the known first-party record and the categories governing any optional technology.

Contact

Questions about cookies or consent may be sent to privacy@factelle.com. See the Privacy Policy for information about rights, sharing, retention and international processing.

Essential storage is always active. Optional categories only run after you save an affirmative choice.
